MHANI needs volunteer guardianship advocates! Volunteer advocates help our guardians keep in touch with their clients and ensure they are receiving the best possible care. It’s also beneficial to clients to have regular opportunities for social interaction beyond their usual circle.
If you answered “yes” to these questions, being a guardianship advocate is the opportunity for you!
In general, as a guardianship advocate, you will be a community friend for an at-risk adult. You may assist in making life decisions with the help of the guardianship coordinator. These decisions might involve the medical, social service, and legal needs of your client.
If you are interested in becoming a guardianship advocate, please contact us at (260) 422-6441 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. You can also fill out the volunteer application form here.
